Rancagua vacation

This images I took a day in Rancagua. I was with a friend in a park of the city, going the afternoon a hot day. I remember, besides,  that It was on vacations in february 2012. This vacations came after a very turbulent year and conflictive as It was 2011, above all because secondary school I went, It was seven month in state of indefinite occupation. Like this, the day in I went to Rancagua, and then of nine month of mobilization, Quickly I was to enter again to class. 

The images, as seen, is not of great quality or with a capture good perspective, but It is taken looking to the heaven accidentally, resulting, anyway, in a images that I like. Even, I have placed repeadtly like profile picture in many of the sites web to which I integrate. 

Finally, this images I have good memories of where, for example, I have more free time, especially thinking in the stress levels that I can have in the university. Besides, thinking also, in the vacations period that, in current time, I miss very much.

My Ambition

Hello!

 Today I will talk about my big ambition. I’m really interested in society and politic and for this I’d like to be an academic and social theorist in the future. I think that theorist knowledge is very important, but if this can’t help to society in a practice way isn’t too useful. Knowledge has to help society to be developed and be better, knowledge can help politics to contribute to make a better society.

I think that the different theorists that I’ve known while I’ve been studying sociology, specially sociologists but not just them, philosophers too, that have developed important social theories have inspired me to have this ambition. People I have met in the school and university have inspired me too.

Fulfill this ambitions would mean a lot things to me, I could develop me as a social person, I could understand and have tools and skill to change or make better the things. This would give it sense to learn, a sense beyond the academy

I like the great diversity of websites that exist in Internet. Personally, I visit many website national and international related with political, social and cultural. Additionaly, I like read about social sciences in distincts specialised magazine's.

In relation to the themes that I like, also I research a lot about sociology, anthropology or psychology. In summary, I research social sciences in internet with, for example, sites like scielo.cl. I was discovered scielo.cl in publications of academics from the university that published and diffused in pages of social networks. I visit this site one or twices a week.

On the other hand, in relation to the political, I like visit sites like eldesconcierto.cl or redseca.cl, because there generate many discussion about news national or international news, especially in Chile, in which exist cases of corruption that involve every institutional political system. Besides, I research marxism in sites like marxismocritico.com that publish theory related. The website eldesconcierto.cl, redseca.cl or marxismocritico.com also I discovered in social networks. I visit this pages almost daily a week.

My name is Matías and I am student of sociology in the Universidad de Chile. Actually I am in second year of the career. I like very much the social theory, especially the associated with the political, economy and structure social, also associated with the study of work in the sociology.
I like all type of music, especially the rock, although when study I like ambiental or relaxed music.
